Head of Risk - PCF Level - Asset Management
As the Designated Person for Operational Risk and Head of Risk Ireland, the role will report to the CEO, and functionally to the Head of Risk Europe, to support the developing growth initiatives for Ireland across Europe.
Individually, the role is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the design, planning and execution of the enterprise risk management framework for Ireland, is delivered in accordance with the regional European implementation plan.
- Ensuring that the enterprise risk framework is embedded and demonstrating oversight of key operational and enterprise risks in respect of the group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Leverage the global Management and European Risk Management programs to develop a thorough and comprehensive enterprise risk management framework with supporting policies appropriate for the Irish business that aligns Business strategy with the Board's stated risk appetite.
2.Develop and maintain an appropriate Risk Governance structure that aligns and supports the European Risk Committee structures and connects, as appropriate, to other regional governance structures.
3.Ensures that the enterprise risk framework engenders is owned and embraced by the Irish executive team and Board, and continuously evolves and establishes an enterprise-wide view of risk profile and the risk profile of its funds. Develops the communication, reporting, training and ongoing enhancement elements of the program seeking to consistently and proactively promote timely and appropriate risk management and issue escalation
4.Advises the Board and the business on the design, implementation and monitoring of business controls established to mitigate all key risks identified relevant to the business. Including but not limited to developing the oversight monitoring of the following;
