Job Overview:  As the Credit Risk Manager, you will manage, implement and optimise Acquisition Risk Strategies.

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Risk Manager:

  • Manage effective strategy development within the Acquisition Risk team
  • Ensuring maximum efficacy of predictive models
  • Development of procedural strategy application and decisioning through decisioning systems, including development of strategy within SDS and PowerCurve
  • Maintenance of Credit Policy
  • Continued monitoring of scorecards to ensure strategies deployed allow optimum revenue and bad debt prevention trade-off wherever possible

The ideal candidate for this Credit Risk Manager opportunity will have the following knowledge, experience and understanding:


  • Good understanding of credit management processes gained through previous experience
  • Operational experience of complex analytics
  • Financial and numerical systems knowledge
  • Database development and use
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel and VBA)
  • Strong proficiency in SAS (enterprise guide and base)
  • SQL programming
  • Mathematics/Statistics or Science degree or significant appropriate experience
  • Problem solving & decision making, Analytical thinking & concern for accuracy
  • Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills
