Our client, a respected name within the consumer credit and short term lending space, are looking to add a senior professional to their London Office, reporting to the Head of Compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic professional looking to step into a number two position with varied responsibilities. The role encompasses the following;  

• Supervising teams both here and overseas
• Sign off on financial promotions
• Updating/drafting procedures
• Evolving and maintaining the compliance monitoring programme including relevant KPIs
• Conducting thematic reviews in line with both company and regulatory obligations
• Advising on developing new products
• Advising on distribution including conducting due diligence on 3rd parties  

You should have good compliance experience from Retail Financial Services, including financial promotions and previous staff supervision experience. Any knowledge of Consumer Credit or Lending useful, although more important is the ability to quickly adapt to a different environment and pick up new areas.  

As the successful candidate will also be required to liaise with and advise the client’s offices in both India and the USA, there will both be some early morning and late calls, hence two days a week can be from home and even the office based days can be flexible in timing.  

NB Role is to cover maternity leave for a minimum of six months, however there is a permanent role available too.
