An exciting opportunity has arisen working for a Leader in Asset Management. The role will be based in Mayfair and will involve travel every so often. The role is for a VP/Audit Team Leader whose role has overall responsibility for the EMEA and Americas ex US Internal Audit Plan. The Audit Team Leader is responsible for the development, implementation, and supervision/execution of the internal audit program for the entities in the Regions above. The Audit Team Leader will have three reports in London.
The Audit Team Leader will be responsible for carrying out the following duties, with the assistance of the resources of the local audit team:

a) Supervising day to day activities.
b) Preparation of Audit Committee materials and presentation to the Audit Committee as necessary, including the UK Boards.
c) Assist with budgeting as required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDACY:
A university degree.
Overall five plus years audit (5+) experience within funds management or other relevant financial services industry, executing financial and operational audits.
Successful lead and/or supervisory audit experience.
Knowledge of the fund management and securities industry, and financial products.
Good working knowledge of FSA rules and guidelines relating to UK fund managers is preferred.
