Description:

A Tier One European Investment Bank is looking to continue the growth of its event driven business this year. Candidates will:

take on responsibility for a considerable part of the event driven/special situations trading book
employ a variety of strategies within the special situations, risk arbitrage and long/short space
take on management responsibility with two direct reports whilst being a primary contact point with sales force
The successful candidate will:

have at least VP level event driven/special situations trading experience from a bulge bracket house
have a strong technical background with a wide range of product knowledge
have previous management responsibility and will be comfortable in bringing added value from day one
