A prestigious financial services institution is looking for a Senior Risk Manager to work in Operational Risk. The Risk function's primary focus is operational risk stemming from a variety of sources including business processes, technology, new product implementation, and business or external changes.Key Job Responsibilities
- Support the Europe Head of Risk in providing leadership and direction within the Risk Team in partnering with the business to identify, quantify, evaluate, prioritise, monitor and report on risks within the business.
- Promote a positive risk culture throughout the business by proactively advising management on risk issues and by providing risk awareness training and communications on a regular basis.
- Support Global Risk Management and Group Risk initiatives, including sharing best practices, on an as needed basis.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all areas and levels of the firm. They will need quantative and risk measurement skills, as well as excellent analytical skills to succeed in this role. The candidate will also need significant experience working in a financial services organization.
