We are looking to recruit a Risk Analyst to our Retail Financial Intelligence (RFI) area. RFI use centrally available data, reports and other intelligence to spotlight key risks.

Your main tasks will be to analyse data and additional information from stakeholders to identify key business risks; design and build Exception Reports to monitor key risk issues on behalf of the wider department, working closely with other teams in RFI and Investigations; and to develop MI and commentary to inform stakeholders of risk activity to support risk-based decisions and strategies.

It is essential you have the ability to run queries, create and use databases and manipulate data using standard PC packages. In addition, you will need to have familiarity with SAS or SQL and be capable of analysing data, identify issues and trends and translate these into solutions. Finally, given the nature of the role you must have a high customer focus and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
