A leading Global Investment Bank is currently seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to take up a senior position in their London Office. The role incorporates various aspects of operational risk from maintaining a high level of risk awareness across the EMEA region, to identifying and managing cross-business risks, reviewing and approving new business, product and fund proposals, and developing and maintaining the operational risk capital methodology and assessment for UK-regulated entities. This role gives exposure to, and requires good communication with, local Business Group Heads and with the function still maturing, this position will create an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to have significant input to the direction of the function.

This is an experienced hire and requires candidates to have a sound knowledge of complex operational risk frameworks and analysis, in an international financial services or investment banking environment from either an operational risk/audit/project management background. You must be comfortable interpreting and balancing commercial issues faced by the business while working to the operational risk mandate.
