A top European investment bank is currently seeking an experienced credit exposure manager to take up a senior desk based position on their credit risk team. This front office position involves working directly with the trading desks, credit analysts and market risk teams in order to conduct Market Liquidity assessments and reviewing and updating risk margins on approved products. As well as working on desk based projects, core tasks will include:

Conduct Market Liquidity Assessment (relevant asset price liquidity)
Review and update risk margins and strategy
Trade approval
Assist in the review and approval process for new product mandate
Candidates for the Credit Exposure Manager role will have a strong academic background, most likely to MSc / DEA or equivalent. It is likely that you will already be in a market risk or credit risk role, and should have strong product knowledge across asset classes including FX/Rates/ Equity/ Credit and Commodities in terms of trade structures and risk methodologies. The credit exposure manager will also have been exposed to risk systems such as Margin Track or GIFT, and be able to demonstrate understanding of the concepts of Collateralised Trading.
This position will suit candidates keen to work in a front office environment, and looking to utilise and develop their commercial acumen, with progression opportunities across the front office on offer to the successful candidate.
