THE COMPANY:

Our client is one of the biggest asset managers in the UK and is one of the largest property fund managers in Europe. They have over £30 billion assets under management.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

To advise and assist the business to ensure compliance with FSA rules.

Ensure prompt communication of key issues and developments to Senior Management, Investors and Group Compliance.

Assist the compliance monitoring team in planning their compliance monitoring on an annual basis and ensuring that individual reviews reflect current concerns or issues

Maintain, develop and promote a strong Compliance culture throughout the Investment areas of the business.

Actively maintain and develop relationships with industry contacts.

Oversight and advice on resolution of errors and breaches

Provide training to Investors staff on Compliance policy, regulatory issues and industry developments.

Input to the content of compliance manual and ensure it is maintained and is at all times up to date with current practice.

Proactively represent Compliance (or deputise for Head of Compliance) at Management Committees, Executive Boards, Governance Committees, and functional meetings, as necessary.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Strong compliance experience gained in an Asset Manager

Experience managing a team is essential

Experience of dealing with investment products is essential
