Major International Banking Organisation are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join the Central Risk function to manage a team of 8 people.

You will be responsible for formulating and developing the Risk Based Monitoring programme to ensure that effective systems and controls are in place. Ensure that Compliance, Risk and Financial Crime issues are identified and remedial actions implemented to prevent and mitigate risks. Lead, motivate, develop, coach and appraise the Risk & Compliance Team taking appropriate action to achieve business objectives in line with agreed plans and budgets. Formulate and direct the implementation of risk policies, practices and procedures. Drive the Risk Management framework across International Retail Banking business in order to protect the business at all times, ensuring controls are established. Ensure the provision of timely, accurate and focused compliance and risk reporting and review / analyse external trends and influences to ensure that a wide range of information is used to support the development of risk related strategies.

The ideal candidate will have experience both in Regulatory and Operational Risk within Retail Banking or Private Banking.
