Job Title: Senior Analysts x 3 – Credit Risk Intelligence & ReportingLocation: London – EC
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + London Allowance (£3,500),Bonus & Benefits
Start: March / April
My client is looking for exceptional senior analysts to support the business in the production of credit risk analysis (Intelligence) and key board and executive reporting.
You will be tasked with producing leading analysis across products that is insightful and helps to identify key areas to improve the performance of credit risk management. You will also be able to take hard to answer questions and inform the debate at a senior level.
Candidates should be looking for the next challenge to push their analytical abilities to consolidate and present information to make a real difference.
The role will balance the production of regular key credit reports (Retail Board Risk Committee, Quarterly Business Review, quarterly forecasting analysis, Financial Results for the City) with the need for specific analysis on any key risks identified.
The roles sits within a small specialist capability in Division tasked with managing both the processes/production of key reporting and ad-hoc insightful analysis.
The role will focus on...
• Being part of a leading capability to produce insightful intelligence, good practices and performance
• Ensuring the highest standard of presenting information in line with accounting, regulatory and group requirements
• Learning how the Retail bank presents information and reporting of credit risk, facilitating effective decision making, discussion and extracting the messages and points succinctly
• Monitoring and highlighting emerging economic, consumer and competitive trends, leading the information gathered from benchmarking groups
• Supporting the Manager to ensure all reporting is accurate and fully reconciled wherever possible
• Maintaining close relations with key sources of information/data and working knowledge of central databases containing historical key performance measures
Candidate Profile
• Exceptional programming skills in SAS and other data manipulation packages
• Strong skills in use of Microsoft packages - Powerpoint, Excel, VB, Word etc
• 2 years + commercial experience in MI Reporting / Delivery, ideally in a retail bank.
