One of the UK's most aspirational brands is looking to appoint a new Senior Analyst to join their customer analytics and insight team.This varied position will be a solid step into management for an experienced Analyst as the position has 1 direct report. The role will deal with all higher level analysis and bigger picture needs of the customer churn areas affecting the whole of the business and all product groups. This role in turn will report to the Head of Analysis and also work closely with a number of key internal stakeholders across other divisions, as well as working closely with the on-site analytics consultancy.
To be successful for this position you must have a very strong knowledge of SQL and solid SPSS skills, however strong SAS skills will be acceptable too. You must be a strong presenter of technical information to non-technical audiences and be a very good stakeholder manager.
It's equally important that you've held a position mentoring less experienced analysts, or have managed at least 1 person in a relevant role in the past. The analyst who reports to this position is highly experienced in their own right, so technically they will be good, this role will develop their strategic competency.
The types of analysis will be varied, from reporting, churn analysis, segmentation, modelling, etc. So having a broad experience in a B2C customer analysis will be important.

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
- Very strong SQL skills
- Experienced in SPSS, or solid SAS skills
- Experience in customer analysis, insight and modelling experience and / or customer segmentation modelling
- Strong data interpretation experience
- Solid mathematical background through education
- Good interpersonal skills, able to explain technical information to a non-technical audience
