Our client, a global investment bank, is looking to make one additional hire onto its commodities sales team in London. The team sell all types of basic products, derivatives and structured products across energy, soft commodities and base/precious metals covering both financial institutions and corporate clients throughout the EMEA region. They’re now looking for a metals specialist to join the team to focus on selling to a large institutional client base (banks, asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds and insurance companies) as well as working closely with the corporate and large multinational team. They’re open to considering candidates at differing levels of seniority, however the successful candidate will require excellent metals and derivatives exposure, and will possess a proven track record within sales, marketing or client facing structuring positions.
