Top tier Global Investment Bank looking to hire in 2008 on to its UK and European sales desk. The team focuses on selling products across all asset classes (Interest rate, FX, Fixed income and commodities) to corporate clients (mid cap, large cap) as well as banks, pension funds, insurance funds and several of the larger building societies and asset managers throughout the UK – the successful candidate will also cover Northern and Central European corporate and institutional clients (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Holland, etc.). They are now looking to hire an Emerging Markets (Latam) products specialist who will join the successful team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Latin American (Mexico, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil) products (money market, FX, interest rate, inflation and fixed income) The management are happy to consider candidates at various levels of experience within this market but candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of the Southern American market. Essentially, the individual will have a strong knowledge of the cultures and understandings of the Latin American market.
