There is an outstanding opportunity to join the commodity sales desk within a top tier investment house. Based in New York, the team is looking to add an experienced commodity salesperson covering a number of products such as; metals (base and precious), emissions, coal, gas and energy. This sales role will entail covering existing clients of the bank across the North American region as well as actively developing new business and accounts. The team sells to numerous institutional clients covering: hedge funds, banks, private banks, asset managers, pension funds and insurance groups. Candidates wishing to apply should have a strong knowledge of both the products and markets they cover, and therefore any candidates with experience selling to US institutional clients, in their current role, would be preferable. The ideal candidate would be at VP level, however provided prior experience within commodity sales is offered, the candidacy will be considered.
