There is an outstanding opportunity to join the commodity sales desk within a top tier investment house. Based in Singapore, the team is looking to add an experienced commodity salesperson covering a number of products such as; metals (base and precious), emissions, coal, gas and energy. This sales role will entail covering existing clients of the bank throughout South East Asia including: Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines stretching as far as Australia, as well as actively developing new business and accounts. The team sells to numerous corporate clients covering predominately mid-cap and large cap businesses. Candidates wishing to apply should have a strong knowledge of both the products and markets they cover, and therefore any candidates fluent in a local language would be preferable. The ideal candidate would be at VP level, however provided the applicant demonstrates strong experience within commodity sales to South East Asian clients there will be consideration.
