My client, a global leader in the financial services sector, are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst with strong SAS skills to work at their HQ in London
You will be leading projects and analysis within one or more Credit Risk disciplines in support of loan portfolios. Your focus will be across the full range of Credit Risk, from application policies and strategies to impairment forecasting. You will have the opportunity to deliver initiatives from the initial analytical stage right through to implementation. You will be carrying out data analysis using your SAS skills, structuring and executing research and analysis into competitive ideas and market research, co-ordinate test/roll-forward analysis and structuring work within the project team. You will be mentoring more junior Analysts within your team.

To be considered for this position you must firstly have a real passion for data analytics and strong SAS skills (or SPSS), gained through working in the credit risk arena. You must be a strong strategic thinker, have strong team leadership ability, be able to effectively communicate key issues and ideas to senior stakeholders and have a degree in a numerate subject, i.e. maths or statistics.
