Risk management is hugely important at Aviva. We’re the UK’s largest insurer, after all. We use it to inform the way we work – from which products we sell and how we sell them, to the procedures that help us comply with FSA regulations. If you’ve experience in Risk Managerment with compliance knowledgethe area (ideally in healthcare), your skills will get the respect they deserve here. Moreover, you’ll have the resources to put all your good ideas into practice.
Essentially, this is for a risk management specialist with experience of someone well-used to embedding Risk Management Frameworks in complex multi-faceted organisations, and inspiring everyone they meet to take them to heart. But there’s more to this than proper documentation. We’ll also expect you to be our in-house risk and regulatory expert – the person who has the answer to any risk question or regulatory change.
You’ll have a small team assisting you. And they’ll want an exceptional example to follow. Someone who naturally keeps their finger on the pulse of the industry, thinks strategically as well as operationally and has the gravitas to bring important issues to the attention of some of our most influential figures.
