Our client is a well known financial services organisation that has been long established and has a reputation for success.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced risk professional to join the business in a key role within the business. The role of Risk Partner reports in to the Group and is responsible for overseeing various business divisions including Finance, Risk, Strategy, HR & Communications and Secretariat from a Risk Management perspective.

You will provide guidance to the Business Director ensuring that the divisional strategic approach to treatment of risk aligns with the Group Operational Risk Strategy. You will work with the Business Heads in order to ensure they are effective in their identification, assessment and management of operational risks. Review the business area's regular risk and control reporting prior to submission to the Business Director and to Group Risk, ensuring timely delivery of reporting to Group Risk. Ensure timely escalation of risk and control events occurring outside of regular risk and control monitoring and reporting. Attend and make an effective contribution to the Governance & Risk Partner Forum.

What we’re looking for: To succeed in this role you will have strong risk management or audit experience ideally gained within a financial services organisation. You will be confident in dealing with people at varying levels of responsibility and have the ability to handle objections and challenges from the business and deal with these appropriately.
