Risk Officer
Gloucestershire
£15 + per hour
6 month contract

 
Requirements
In addition to this focus, all the members of the department are also expected on occasions to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that collectively, the priorities of the department are achieved. This may mean sharing skills or experience in another unit or undertaking work with or on behalf of colleagues.
 
·         Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision.
·         Demonstrate self-motivation and willingness to learn new skills and be flexible to meet the needs of the department.
·         Draft and produce high quality, accurate user friendly documents using Microsoft Office applications to meet routine and time critical deadlines.
·         Establishment and maintenance of good working relationships across the organisation.
·         Effective communication at the appropriate level with internal and external stakeholders reporting progress against objectives.
·         Promote the work of the Risk Management Board and Group in a positive and professional manner.
·         Ensuring organisational activity across internal and external risk processes is accurately incorporated into records.
·         Provide professional and proactive administrative support as required.
·         Uses specialist skills, knowledge and competence to benefit colleagues at all levels.
 
Experience and Qualifications·        
·        Possesses the OGC Management of Risk qualification at Practitioner level (or equivalent). (DESIRABLE)
·         Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Essential)
·         Knowledge and experience in the use of risk identification, analysis, treatment and monitoring techniques and the ability to select, develop and implement the appropriate technique for the type of work being undertaken (Essential)
·         Ensure that professional advice is up to date and complies with any legal or regulatory requirements. (Essential)
·         Knowledge and experience in business continuity management and the formulation of business continuity plans. (Desirable)
·         Proficiency in the field of risk management with significant experience within a risk management environment involving risk identification analysis and management. (Essential)
·         Educational attainments to A level standard or equivalent. (Essential)
·         Experience of being an effective team player and also have a proven track record of working on own initiative and delivering results. (Desirable)
·         Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with other departments and agencies (Desirable).
·         Full car driving licence (Essential)
