What you will be doing
This is an exceptional opportunity for a high performing risk engineer. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities in this role, which will include:-
• Support / taking the lead of a wide range of risk consulting projects (all of which will be related to natural catastrophes)
• Undertaking onsite structural risk surveys to support underwriting decisions and develop risk mitigation strategies;
• Advising internal and external clients on general natural catastrophe issues (earthquake, wind and flood); and
• Developing and applying new and innovative approaches to identify catastrophe risks in areas where standardised risk assessment tools or cat models do not exist.
Who they are looking for
To apply for this role you must have at least 5 years experience in risk engineering, and also have experience conducting onsite risk assessment surveys (EML, BI estimates etc). You will also hold a degree (grad or post-grad) in a relevant discipline and possess excellent project management and presentation skills.
