About the role
The team is responsible for the day to day management of the Retail Credit Risk Data Mart (RCRDM). The RCRDM is the SAS database used by Retail Credit Risk modelling and analytics teams. The role has the following responsibilities:-
• To maintain the production tables and code in the RCRDM.
• Ensure that the production tables in the RCRDM reconcile to the General Ledger and other
business databases within Nationwide.
• Develop changes to the RCRDM as requested by data users following the procedures set
out in the RCRDM change request process.
• Maintain a data dictionary and other data related technical documentation.
• Provide user support on all SAS and data related topics.
• Provide general oversight for development of best practice in data management.
About you
The role requires a team player with a positive attitude and a flexible approach. To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you have a mix of strong business and technical skills. Experience in a SAS database environment (base SAS, SAS macro and Proc SQL) is essential preferably within the financial services industry and ideally with mortgage experience. An understanding of database and ETL methodology is also required. You will need a logical approach and great attention to detail, self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.
