Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Risk Analyst to join the Credit and Market Risk team at a world leading inter dealer broker. Reporting to the Regional Risk Manager, you will carry out the day-to-day risk monitoring of the Futures business.Key Responsibilities include
•Ensure understanding of the full product life-cycle (order entry through to settlement)
•Ensure detailed understanding of each market's valuation calculations
•Produce/contribute to management reporting as defined in the risk management policies and procedures
•Ensure understanding of the front-end trading systems used and processes followed by the Futures Execution desk
•Review all error trade reports and escalate those that need further investigation according to the defined risk management policies and procedures
•Review default trade reports and escalate those that need further investigation according to the defined risk management policies and procedures
•Perform any other duties/responsibilities as required by management
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level with previous experience of working within the Futures market essential. Previous credit and/or market risk experience necessary ideally from within a broker, investment bank, or clearing organisation, incorporating knowledge of the full product lifecycle. Good knowledge of the derivatives markets and products, along with excellent communication oral and written skills.
