The role will suit an academic high achiever with superior analytical skills, good judgement and a proven track record of working effectively and accurately in a deadline-driven, pressurised environment. Previous experience will ideally be gained from a sector research/analysis, compliance, or consultancy or environment and the ability to communicate effectively with and challenge senior finance professionals is prerequisite.
Key responsibilities will be to research key areas of the Financial Services industry and its key figures, assess business intelligence using forensic research and interviewing techniques, and work closely with other business areas to ensure information is utilised effectively.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills, a pro-active, flexible approach and the desire and ability to thrive in a challenging, constantly evolving environment. Previous exposure to/knowledge of the FSMA and FSA's Approved Persons process is strongly preferred and a good general knowledge of the UK Regulatory environment is essential.
