Description:
An excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer has arisen within a highly respected top tier Investment Bank. Our client is a leading global financial services firm with operations in more than 50 countries. The firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers, small business and commercial banking, financial transaction processing, asset and wealth management, and private equity.The key responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Officer include:
-Be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining control programmes for the IOS
operational teams in London and Swindon
-Work with operation management and teams to assess and analyse efficacy of risk mitigation
-Assist in the management of risk identification particularly with regard to operational error
-Ad hoc tasks as required by business and client demands
-Perform reviews within time budgets and target dates, reporting any timing problems or budget
over-runs to Director of OCM
-Support / lead development of QA program to ensure quality of work completed.
-Present / support presentation of observations and recommendations to business unit
management; resolve contentious issues and reach agreement on appropriate solutions to risk
management and operational efficiency issues.
The suitable candidate should be a part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with audit/ Operational Risk or Compliance experience. You should also have a broad understanding of asset management
