Description:
THE COMPANY:Our client is a leading fund manager, with over £50 billion AUM. They invest in pension funds, government entities and financial institutions.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily review of accounts to ensure compliance with client guidelines and any additional regulatory requirements.
Review order requests to ensure the proposed trade will not breach client guidelines.
Maintain and up-to-date knowledge of the requirements of your portfolios and act as the main point of contact for any portfolio compliance issues that arise.
Complete compliance certifications for accounts as required and manually review guideline restrictions that cannot be coded into the system, to ensure portfolio compliance.
Interpretation and coding of new investment mandates into Guideline Monitoring System ensuring all relevant client and regulatory requirements are identified and are monitored.
Monitoring work and desk/business reviews as directed by the Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal procedures and controls (in accordance with the monitoring programme).
Submissions of periodic reports to the FSA.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Exposure to portfolio monitoring is essential
Professional qualification and/or degree is preferred
Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and UCITS
