The PositionsOur prestigious banking client is looking to recruit an Operational Risk Manager to play a leading role in the monitoring and mitigation of Operational Risks across all business divisions. The team will ensure consistency with the Groups Risk appetite in compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines. Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk Framework you will be responsible for designing and implementing the Operational Risk framework and policy to meet the regulatory agenda, deploying the OR model, managing system development, ensuring policies and procedures are aligned and training and development.

The Person
Operational Risk Senior Managers should have practical experience of designing and implementing Operational Risk Frameworks and technical knowledge of operational risk regulatory requirements, ideally Basel II. The incumbents should have good awareness of Risk Management, Regulatory standards and Operational Risk measurement and techniques. Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills are required, as are organisational/communication skills. The individuals must be able to deliver solutions to policy requirement, and be entrepreneurial and adaptable to changing scenarios within a banking environment.
