You will leverage our recent investments in data and technology to deliver benefit through advancing the current management information reporting suite and performing bespoke analysis of portfolio and cohort trends to drive business decisions.


The key objective of the role is to develop and produce reports that enable senior management to make business decisions balancing risk and reward as a means of achieving growth targets and financial objectives.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• Partner with colleagues in U.S Management Information to share experiences and align best practice.
• Business analysis and reporting to understand financial performance by risk, and behavioural segments that will be used to inform future investment decisions.
• Optimize both risk and reward performance of the portfolio through understanding customer behaviour and the impacts to the key P&L lines.
• Liaise with strategy managers to give a holistic view of strategy impact on the portfolio.
• Recommend actions where adverse trends are visible within the current reporting suite and bespoke analysis.
• Use technical skills to reduce report production timescales through automation and consistency of reporting across the department.
• Perform regular audits of current report suite to verify data integrity.



QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Proven numeric background
• Strong technical skills
- SAS
- Advanced Excel (Pivots, Lookup, If statements)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence across all levels of authority.
• Self motivated and flexible with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under own initiative.
• Understanding of business P&L and its key drivers.
• Reporting or financial modelling experience


Preferred:
• Visual Basic
• Risk experience.
