Overview

The role is for an experienced MI manager to lead a team of management information specialists across multiple sites handling multiple systems, responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, appropriate and user-friendly operational performance information and analysis.

The function will be responsible for all Mortgage Collections & Recoveries MI and will be required to tailor reporting accordingly, to numerous stakeholders ranging from operational Team Managers to senior executives across Mortgages and Retail.

The jobholder will lead, manage and coach a large team of analysts and will be responsible for the integration of management information for Mortgage Collections & Recoveries.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Accountable for leading, managing & co-ordinating all production M.I. deliverables for Mortgage Collections & Recoveries operations with the objective of maximising performance across 10 operational sites with over 1,000 FTE via effective M.I. and insight.
• Accountable for the integration and consolidation of MI across all areas of C&R, and shaping and delivering the entire suite of Collections & Recoveries MI.
• Responsible for building and shaping strong business relationships with all stakeholders to understand and respond to their information needs while proactively influencing them to embrace and use other effective KPI measures.
• Responsible for identifying and developing innovative techniques, systems and reporting to improve Collections & Recoveries performance.
• Accountable for Collections & Recoveries results as part of the management team; including P&L results, Impaired Loans, and TCF metrics

Candidate Profile

• Educated to degree level in business/analytical discipline.
• Highly numerate with a good understanding of analytical techniques, advanced data extraction and manipulation.
• Top class verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills, specifically the ability to co-ordinate and handle many critical pieces of work simultaneously and deliver to short timescales with a high degree of quality.
• First hand detailed knowledge of multiple analysis/ contact centre/collections systems and infrastructure, ideally including CACS, Debt Manager, ACD, IVR, Diallers and Total-View. Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and SAS desirable.
• Minimum 5 years experience in management information or analytic roles.
• Minimum 5 years successful experience in direct line management responsibility for a large multi-site MI/Analytic team.
