A well-established hedge fund (in excess of $2bn AUM) is seeking top-drawer Leveraged Finance candidates to help grow its European business. The desk trades a combination of non-performing credit (including Distressed, High Yield and Mezzanine) and Special Situations Equity. It adopts an absolute return approach. They require candidates who are working at analyst/associate/VP level in a Leveraged Finance team at a Tier 1 Investment Bank. Suitable candidates will have an in-depth grasp of fundamental credit analysis, including superb LBO modeling skills. You will have a passion for investing and a desire to move to the buyside. You will be working on a range of distressed credit opportunities throughout the European markets, identifying high-return investments and taking on risk.
