Description:
The Role:As a Junior Risk Manger you will be managing the build of new ratings tools (PD, LGD, CCF) to improve regulatory and business information. This will involve defining clear data specifications for each portfolio, managing the data transfer to a developmental database, cleaning and preparing the data for analysis. Leading the analysis to identify optimal statistical model. Prepare presentation and formal documentation of the model to achieve approval of a working prototype.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience of risk modelling and a database language (eg. SQL or Access). Will have good analytical skills and be an independent thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills specially for explaining complex technical subjects. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in corporate credit risk, particularly Basel II is an advantage. You will be a graduate with a degree or post-graduate qualification in a numerate discipline with a clear ability for handling data and performing quantitative analysis. Additionally you will have either management experience or the personal qualities to take the next step in your career.
