Our client, a global brand FMCG business, is recruiting a talented audit professional to undertake a Manager level position. The Audit function is seen as a centre of excellence for the business, where auditors gain valuable exposure to all business areas before potentially moving into an operational role.
The business considers its operations to be undergoing a period of significant change over the next few years and that this will facilitate major changes in business processes and procedures. The associated level of change will place great demands upon resources, cause changes in the risk profile, and provide a challenging audit environment. The Global Audit team will therefore require an additional level of  guidance, support and quality assurance provided from Central Audit.

The Audit Manager will plan, control &/or lead audits in key areas of the business, often dictated by risks emerging from re-structuring and other change programmes. These will include a number of global holistic audits, reviewing a process across the entire organisation and audits of the UK based entities. The role will also provide essential support to the Corporate Audit Controller in fulfilling his/her responsibilities relative to the Corporate Audit Committee and direct responsibility for a subsidiary Audit Committee. The overall objective of the role is to influence Senior Management to review that an appropriate balance exists between risk and associated control costs.
