Description:
Our client, one of the largest publicly traded global asset management firms in the world is looking to recruit a Senior Audit Associate to join a team of three Auditors in Mayfair in London. You must be 5 years post qualified and have experience within Financial Services to be successful for this role.The Senior Audit Associate, Non-US Internal Audit Group, London Office, is responsible for planning, performing, reporting, and following-up on specific audit assignments under the guidance of the Audit Manager - Non-US and Audit Team Leader - London. Such assignments are performed to assist in assessing the relative accuracy of financial information, the effectiveness of internal controls, and compliance with management instituted policies, procedures, and country specific regulatory requirements.
This position requires:
A university degree.
About 5 years audit experience within funds management (1st preference) highly desirable, or other relevant financial services industry, executing financial and operational audits. Consideration also given to candidates with business/operations, compliance, and risk management backgrounds in fund management.
Knowledge of operational risk management processes and experience in working in the field and auditing it is desirable.
CIA and/or qualified/partially qualified accountant preferred, but not required.
