Description:

My client has a long history of profitably trading the global financial and commodity markets using model-based, purely systematic approaches and currently manages investments of over US$20B. They are currently looking for an investment operations analyst to join their team where you will get significant exposure to the business through daily liaison with fund managers, traders, risk managers and operations.



Responsibilities include:

- Risk analysis

- Trade checking & review

- Slippage analysis

- Implementing portfolio changes

- Enhancements to the trading system

- Setup ongoing support for: new markets, new trading strategies & new products



Suitable candidates must have:

- Bsc/Msc level qualifications within a statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial discipline

- Experience within an operational department for a financial institution

- High competence in use of computers including database programming (Oracle), MS Excel and Access. Visual Basic/Matlab

skills would be highly advantageous.

- Ability to adopt a strategic approach when solving problems

- Strong communication skills including presenting results and writing reports
