Our client is a listed FTSE 250 company which operates globally in multiple disciplines and the position is for Group Internal Auditor/Special Projects.In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of the annual audit programme and will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit. In addition to internal audit, they will be expected to undertake special projects in order to assist the Group's management in pursuing their objectives. This can range from acquisition due diligence to matters associated with financial reporting.
You will have the opportunity to make presentations to the Audit Committee up to four times a year and exposure to the Board is immediate.
This is a great entry point role into this ambitious organisation for an individual willing to learn, with scope to take on additional responsibility and move outside internal audit in due course. They will be expected to manage the internal audit function in 2 years and take on more finance related project work. After this, options include moving to a more commercial role or secondments overseas.
Travel to Sydney, Paris, Johannesburg and the US.
