Front Office Analyst - Commercially minded ACA/ACCA required challenging role in leading Investment Bank

This team is responsible for the financial risk assessment of the Bank’s corporate client base to provide analytical support in the development of profitable business and to ensure that credit decisions are taken on the basis of rigorous financial analysis.

Duties:

• Rigorous analysis ensuring the financial and commercial risks associated with counterparty and transaction has been assessed objectively

• Financial modelling of lending propositions.

• Sector and peer group research on designated industries

• Analysis of new business opportunities and developing and structuring new proposals.

• Attending customer meetings and contributing to the credit approval process;

Requirements:

• Highly Commercial Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA)

• Understanding of current economic and commercial developments and relevant sector knowledge;

• Experience in one of the following sectors desirable: Infrastructure, Transport, Construction, Defence, Aerospace, Logistics and Energy.

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to construct and use financial models and spreadsheets;

• First rate written and oral communication
