THE COMPANY:
Our client is a City based Asset Manager offering a range of products for retail and corporate investors. They currently have over £150 billion under management invested in Fixed Income, Property and Equities
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analysis and interpretation of FSA and relevant SEC and European regulations and Consultative papers, as well as engagement with relevant industry bodies where required.
• Delivery of regulatory change into the business
• Identification and support of projects, business developments and system changes impacting Compliance in order to ensure that regulatory considerations are identified, understood and addressed.
• Projecting and fostering a supportive compliance culture within the fixed income business unit
• Liaison and relationship management with Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance monitoring and Equities Compliance Advisory teams.
• Facilitate and provide required regulatory training to staff
• Support the head of Fixed Income advisory team
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Asset Management compliance experience
• Knowledge of UK, SEC and European regulations as applicable to an asset manager
• A well developed understanding of both front and back office activities in a fund management firm
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products
