A Truly Fantastic Opportunity has arisen for someone who really wants to start a career as a Credit Analyst. My client, a small commodities broker has a small risk team and is looking to hire a candidate at Junior Analyst level.

This role should only appeal if you have a desire to work in Financial Services and see a role in credit as an excellent start to your career. You should already be able to show that you have a vested interest in the FS world by either reading Financial Press or having previous work experience within the sector.
My client isn't looking for any previous experience, but personality and desire is key to this role. If you want it enough, then you will be able to succeed.

In return, they will be able to offer you a varied role, with fantastic exposure across the firm. They specialise in commodities and will be involved with futures and options which are exciting products to work with and ever-changing. You will want to look at cash-flow forecasts and profit and loss accounts as well.



Duties include
·       Collects and verifies data from clients and other sources for the preparation of
           credit reviews;
·       Prepares credit proposals for submission to the Credit Committee;
·       Supports the Head of Credit & Senior Analyst in solving credit counterparty
     problems;
·       Monitoring of credit counterparty exposures;
·       Monitoring financial markets and financial press which impact on
     counterparties;
·       Assists in the preparation of weekly credit committee minutes;
·       Assists in the preparation of weekly excess reports for weekly credit
     committee;
·       Assists in checking facility documentation.
Provide support in ad hoc projects as directed by Head of Credit
