THE COMPANY:Our client has over 500 offices around the globe and over $700 Billion assets under management. They have a commanding presence in London and are currently looking for a Disclosures Analyst to join their growing team. The incumbent will have a good understanding of Takeover Panel rules with a specific knowledge of Major Shareholdings reporting requirements. The role is a great opportunity for a ‘second jobber’ who is looking for the next step in a well known house. There will be opportunities to get involved with project work.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with all major shareholding requirements contained within the relevant Transparency Directive provisions implemented across Europe and equivalent requirements throughout EMEA.
Work with the head of the team to ensure appropriate firm involvement in relevant consultation papers and responses.
Ensure compliance with all disclosure requirements under the UK, Irish and French Takeover Panel Rules and equivalent requirements throughout EMEA.
Ensure compliance with section 793 of the UK Companies Act 2006 and similar legislation in other European jurisdictions.
Work with Head of the Reporting team and Law and Compliance IT team to ensure continued development and enhancement of team disclosure and reporting capabilities, for example the Transparency Directive.
Liaise with the FSA in regard to regulatory enquiries from all European regulators as well as relevant exchanges and carry out necessary diligence to provide timely response.
Ensure that FSA and exchange circulars, notices etc, are promptly notified to relevant business units and operations departments.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Relevant compliance disclosures experience gained within financial services
Ideally educated to degree level
