Description:
PURPOSE OF ROLEThis position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your experience in a dynamic trading business and diversify your product knowledge.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team of 3 and work closely with the business.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of TCG Compliance EMEA.
The role will include advising on a diverse range of compliance matters, participation in the groups new business and product project teams and exposure to exchange and regulatory requirements across all the jurisdictions in which the group operates
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversight and management of:
Ensure compliance of Front Office staff with internal policies
Assist with all general queries from the business, other compliance departments and support areas
Review of documents to ensure compliance with Financial Promotion rules
Review and analysis of the monitoring programme
Assist internal Audit with TCG related audits
Assist with General Compliance projects
Assist with TCG training programme
Assist with the designing and maintenance of TCG policies
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Strong experience gained within the futures compliance role or within a UK or European exchange
Knowledge of regulatory and legislative developments, regulations, and exchanges and changes affecting Business Divisions
Strong analytical ability, judgement and administrative skills
Proven ability to balance the need to switch between being immersed detailed day to day activity and problem-solving versus managing higher level longer term activities and objectives
Proven ability to sustain high level of performance under pressure with short deadlines etc.
Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across all levels, including with external parties as relevant e.g. regulatory bodies
Effective communication skills including strong written communication
