THE COMPANY:

Our client is one of the most recognized names in financial services. They specialize in offering investment, private and corporate banking services to individuals, governments & corporate clients. They are looking to recruit a Compliance Manager to cover Maternity leave, who is keen to get involved in all aspects of compliance within this busy team.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

To coordinate and manage activities of two Compliance team members in implementation of local and global monitoring programmes

Ensure accurate and timely presentation of results to Head of Compliance and Senior Management and to present sensible suggestions to improve procedures where appropriate

Assist in the review and, if appropriate, updating of compliance monitoring programmes.

Undertake monitoring of the adherence of compliance procedures, primarily, across the Banking division

Updating and maintaining compliance procedures as necessary

Day to day duties include dealing with queries relating to general compliance issues, Senior Staff Loans, Staff Dealing Rules, Money Laundering and new starter inductions.

Coordinating other Compliance projects

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have compliance experience gained within a banking environment.

Experience of managing a team would be beneficial
