Description:
THE COMPANY:Our client is a niche leading global financial service provider, whose services include fund management and advisory to financial institutions and the government. They are seeking a Compliance Manager to join their London office.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the Compliance function to ensure that the firm complies with all Global requirements
Working with the executive directors and senior management to improve their understanding of strategic and operational compliance
Responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive compliance policy and training manual
Working with colleagues in both front office and support functions to identify and establish all requisite controls, policies and procedures
Responsible for the enhancement of global compliance risk–based monitoring programme
Liaison with colleagues and regulators in various jurisdictions, and working with external consultants
Continuous advice across business functions including TCF, AML, and Financial Promotions
Increasing the profitability and value of the business through effective Compliance management and good business practice
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Strong compliance experience ideally gained within financial services
Good knowledge of the FSA rulebook
Ideally educated to degree
