One of the world’s leading financial institutions and a key player in the Credit Cards market is looking for a commercial credit strategy manager. In this role you will join the Management and Pricing Team which is responsible for driving and managing pricing, credit strategy and revenue enhancement ideas across credit cards.rnrnResponsibilities:rnrn· Acquisition line strategy; ensuring the right line at time of acquisition to encourage higher take-up rate, activation and spend levels on the card.rn· Early Month on Book: Encourage balance build and further retail sales activities; mitigating risk by management of line decrease programs.rn· Mature Book: Develop strategies and tactics for accounts 12+ months on book, to encourage higher activation, retail sales and balance build activities, mitigate risk by management of line decrease programs.rn· Develop and deliver commercial credit strategy in the areas of credit authorizations. rn· Working with Credit Risk and Fraud to ensure P&L optimal fraud strategies.rnrnWe are looking for a commercially focused individual with a risk/analytical focus. You must have an understanding of P&L dynamics along with excellent numeric and analytical skills enabling you to analyse and interpret results. You will have effective communication skills which will allow you to influence at all levels and develop internal and external relationships. Good knowledge of the credit card market, preferably within the UK or US sector is preferred. A Commercial and Analysis based qualification would be advantageous. While relevant experience within the financial services sector would be of great interest, candidates from other sectors are equally encouraged to apply.
