Our client is one of the leading financial services organisations in the world. They are now looking to recruit a senior Internal Audit professional with a knowledge of Market Risk. 
The Internal Audit function has a high profile and is respected for providing controls assurance that contributes to overall business success. They now have a vacancy for a Specialist Audit Manager within the Treasury and Asset Management team, with responsibility for planning and conducting risk based audits of, largely, market risk related areas. This role is chiefly London based but there is a need to travel domestically and internationally. As a Specialist Audit Manager,  your key accountabilities will be  to plan, organise and deliver audit assignments on Market Risk / CAD2 Treasury / Asset Management within the deadlines allocated and in accordance with Group Internal Audit standards, identify and document issues for business management in a clear, fair and pragmatic way that improves the control environment. You will establish, develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships and knowledge base, including senior management, external auditors and the FSA. Where appropriate you will lead, motivate and  develop team members to promote individual and collective performance and pro-actively communicate within the team and Group Audit management, feeding identified issues and risks into the planning process.
