Our Major Retail Groups Division regulates the UK retail financial services groups that have the greatest impact on our statutory objectives. We work to reduce risks, and you will be responsible for supervising two major investment and insurance firms, influencing their senior management to deal with risks on our agenda. This will involve undertaking or leading risk assessments using ARROW, as well as developing, implementing and monitoring risk mitigation programmes. Ensuring compliance with FSA processes will also be part of your remit.
We’re looking for the ability to analyse high volumes of complex information, present key issues and solutions, and interpret financial statements. Strong numerical and interpersonal skills, an outcomes-focused approach and high levels of personal credibility are all essential.
