Description:

Our client, a leading Sports Broadcasting and Production company, are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their London branch of what is a UK wide finance department. A full study support package is on offer for those looking to complete their ACCA/ CIMA qualification.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance, key duties will include:
•Producing detailed actual reports from the financial ledger and cost reporting for Producers
•Liaising with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely payment process for invoices and expenses
•Assisting with preparation of month end close process. Which will include accruals and prepayments, preparation of ledger journals and reconciliation of Month End return, including preparation and entry of journals
•Checking, coding and entering of expense claims
•Completing Ad hoc tasks as and when required by management

The ideal candidate will be studying either ACCA or CIMA and have previous working knowledge of an Accounts Assistant role. Additionally, those with an understanding of SAP will hold a significant advantage, as will those with an interest in Sport. You will have to work to tight reporting deadlines within a team environment, but will also have the ability to work upon own initiative if required.
