You’ll work with third parties to ensure we comply with all legal and regulatory requirements and have the right strategies in place to safeguard our bank. This will involve keeping up to date with changes in the AML field, developing and maintainingpolicies that protect us against risk, and checking the right training is given. You’ll alsooversee the reporting and monitoring of Suspicious Activity Reports and Serious Organised Crime Agency referrals, help our Compliance Team with more general checks and assist our Money Laundering Regulation Officer with reports.
To achieve the significant results we expect, you must be able to see the bigger picturewithout overlooking key details and make sound judgments based on the best information. Naturally, there will be time and budget restraints, but your flair for problem solving and focused approach will stop them influencing your success. Your good understanding of planning methods, tools and techniques will be useful here too – as will your diplomacy and discretion.
