We have a great opportunity for an Anti Money Laundering (AML) Manager, to join the Compliance team within our Business Services division at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. This role is a 12-18 month fixed term contract, and can be based in Edinburgh or Manchester.    

       
Business Services is the backbone of the Group, providing a diverse range of high quality services to the customer-facing operations within the Group. Business services includes; Technology Services, Group Operations, Group Property, Security and Risk (Corporate Security Services), Business Services Risk, Business Services Finance, Business Services Human Resources, Strategy and Architecture, and Procurement.           

The Anti Money Laundering (AML) function is responsible for the provision of reactive and proactive advice to staff on all aspects of AML and is accountable for globally formulated AML policies and sanctions. We seek to protect the bank from the threat of money launderers and terrorist financiers.     

       
In the role of AML Manager, you'll be involved in the Identification of relevant emerging and upstream regulatory risks, through the analysis of internal / external policy and rules. You'll also drive improvements in the management of the AML, Sanctions and Anti Bribery & Corruption (ABC) framework across Business Services, proactively identifying the need for adaptation of controls to meet changes in the risk profile and optimise balance between controls and risk.

       
As AML Manager, you'll have risk management methodologies experience, along with regulatory experience including knowledge of AML, Sanctions and ABC environments and legislative requirements / developments. It would also be highly desirable for you to have experience of working with Senior Management and implementing change while supporting less experienced team members. Additionally, you'll have a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
