Technical Fraud Specialist

We need to protect our business. And as Technical Fraud Specialist, you’ll do just that, giving both customers and the business complete peace of mind.
In this key role, you’ll provide technical support to help Three clamp down on fraudulent opportunities in new initiatives. It’s all about minimising risk and reducing losses in order to drive a profitable business. That means reviewing upcoming developments across Voice, SMS and content, as well as new technologies like Volts and Mobile Money; identifying potential technical weaknesses, and developing and implementing technical solutions to keep us as protected as possible. But it’s just as much about existing products and procedures as it is new ones. So looking at our current way of doing things, you’ll recommend improvements to reduce risk and eradicate loopholes – shaping a more secure Fraud function going forward.
Coming from a similar role in a fraud operations environment, you’ll have extensive knowledge of preventing technical fraudulent activity, as well as an ability to apply your technical knowledge of 3G, GSM, LTE architecture to find effective solutions. Industry knowledge of new emerging technologies is a great attribute. As are the motivation and organisation skills needed to coordinate your own workload. But more than that, we’re after someone with a firm but fair approach and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels. Add excellent communication and negotiation skills and you’ll build key relationships right across the business.
